Due to their size and weight, heavy machinery such as excavators is used alongside specialized saws to ensure each piece is placed and stacked with precision.Small gravel is placed behind the wall to help retain the hillside and support the weight of the retaining wall stones. This added reinforcement is essential to the overall stability and longevity of the structure.Once all the stones are set, final grading is completed to level the surrounding area and create a seamless, natural landscape that enhances the backyard space.The new Grand Ledge retaining wall is integrated into the backyard slope, creating more usable level space while improving the overall appearance of the landscape.
