The pipe extends toward the end of the planned dry creek bed, creating a continuous drainage system that will help move water safely away from the home and property.The dry creek bed is being installed! Positioned along a gentle slope on the property, the creek bed creates a natural path for collecting and directing surface runoff. The rocks help slow and distribute the flow of water, allowing it to filter down through the stone and geotextile fabric to the drainage pipe installed underneath. From there, the underground system carries the water safely away from the home.Additional dirt is added over the underground pipe, and the area is carefully graded to create a slope that directs water away from the home. Once the grass grows back, the drainage system will blend seamlessly into the landscape, leaving little visible evidence of the work while making a significant difference in how water is managed around the property.
